It's been a great opportunity to get involved in the team for a field work such as measuring the trail distance manually using 50 meter rope and collecting data for soil compaction. This climb is held from the 15th to the 19th of July 2019.

The assessment method was important to evaluate the effectiveness of trail maintenance and the impact of hiking activities for the trails. Simple story, this experience is very useful for our future plans for furthering Master's degree in environmental studies.

Our team also escorted by two personnel from Merapoh National Park, Mr. Azrim and Mr. Izwan. The great things was, they not just escorted but they also help in collecting data for this project. It's good to have positive people's around that grab all the opportunities to learn a new knowledge in their life.

Thanks to Jenal Othman for inviting us in his project. Appreciate all the knowledge that we gained in these 5 days expedition, because hiking is our lifestyle!
